Anyone looked at this on SGL?   20 Hours data over several years and who knows how many hours processing.

The full size image is just astonishing.

My goodness. That's amazing. I could look at that image for ages ... just all the stars, M42 itself ... you could have said this was taken with hubble and I'd have believed you!

Whatchutalkingabout? I though he imaged it himself? Or am I missing something? (a joke?)

He did take it himself. He was sat astride the Hubble with a Canon 5D and 300mm L Lens.  : ))
