Just a wee reminder if anyone is interested, Curiosity land on Mars, can be watched on Xbox live event viewer, starts 11.30PM ET and 8.30PT , also inline at     http://www.nasa.gov/home/index.html

should look here as well  www.eyes.nasa.gov  it's a wee computer sim with live timing showing where it is  in present time also you can go to http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/nasatv/index.html for live  feed
its only got about 74 000 miles to go it will seperate in 8 hours 36 mins and 8 hr 47 till radio silence [7 min of hell ]

Ye that's right , im watching it live will be watching all the way till it lands, i hope makes history in a good way, and not turn up a mangled wreck of metals, go "NASA"

First low resolution images sent back - so it seems to have survived the landing okay.

Nice one, hopefully the Discovery Channel will spend some dosh and make a new series about this, and repeat it 30 time like they do with all other series......
Seriously though, I am hoping that this makes for some ground breaking science.
