A couple of nebula
« on: December 01, 2017, 05:10:09 PM »
So I have been trying to get the hang of guiding in my back garden to ensure I can actually take some longer exposures and pick up various nebula etc.

This is basically a couple of images with about 2 hours of data each made up of 5 minute exposures and were taken from my back garden.

I still think I need to get better at the post processing but for now, I think this is the best I can get out of things.

First up is the Crescent Nebula (NGC 6888)

Next up is the Gamma Cassiopeiae Nebula (IC 59 & IC 63) - The Moonlight was affecting me last night when I took this but I am happy enough.

Hi David, youíre really coming on and these images are testament to that.  Does this mean we will never see you at Harperrigg again?  That would be a shame[emoji846]

Yeah, Iíve missed a few chances, including this weekend.  Might try and go straight from work some time this week.
