« on: June 11, 2016, 01:53:32 PM »
Is there a rule for shipping from the states.
I looking to buy a Faststar / Hyperstar  setup for my SCT. The cost here from the widescreen centre is abt 1095.00

Buying direct from Starizona is $949 = 665
A difference of 430 quid.

There may be a handling fee charged by the Post office in addition to the duty/VAT mentioned by Kathleen.

I think you will get hit with import duty, then tax, then postage, then VAT on the cost of it all. I think it would still work out cheaper but not by as much as you think. the other problem is your warranty is then in the US....
