The song by Alanis Morrissette is ringing in my head as I look at the weather forecast for tonight :)
Is there any point in going out observing under a full moon?

I was so excited when I seen the weather this morning I did not consider the fact that our lunar nemesis is out in full force. Maybe I will make a start on the lunar 100 from the back garden tonight. What is everyone elses plans? Anyone heading up to the Rigg?

I'm hoping someone can give me a good reason for heading out, but the lunar 100 isn't it.
Many of the features can only be found when the terminator is near them.
So, unless someone can convince me otherwise, it's going to be another night in the house tonight - doh!

Typical. I might do some lunar/planetary or even a bit of Ha.

On another note. I see there are updates to PHD2 -> 2.6.1 and also a Ascom ->6.2. I was still on older versions. Might explain my PHD disconnects!

Still haven't processed the M81 from the other week.  But beginning to think that imaging with the DSLR and the RC isn't the best. 0.82"/pixel is not good resolution. Where as with the 80mm it is 2.22"/pixel.

Obviously I cannot bin with the DSLR.

I am just out the back door doing lunar. PhD 2.6.1 would not track any stars even the bright ones it fail half way through so went back to an older ver works fine. Not saying this will be the same for you.

Aye pish it was! I am using Maxim instead. Not sure if  its the QHY5l-II driver or what.  Doing some 20min subs on the Horsey in Ha for something to do!

Sort of. Keeps not downloading the image. Thinks it has disconnected. To be fair though Maxim occasionally does that which is why I suspect the QHY Driver. I might try it on another laptop too.
