Abernethy Space Day 18th July
« on: June 27, 2015, 03:44:17 PM »
Hi Folks,

We have been working with David (perthskies) to organise a 'Space Day' at Abernethy on the 18th July to help raise funds for a community cinema in the village. Please see attachment for full details.

If you have a solar scope feel free to bring it along and take part or if you are looking for a fun day out yourself or with the family you'd all be more than welcome!!  :)

If you'd like to come along post on here and if you have any questions PM David, it would be good to see a few other CSOG'ers there on the day, if you are free.  :)

All the best
Steve

Thanks for posting Steve. Yeah folks come along and have some fun at "The Dome". If you have a white light filter also bring it with your scope. There is a small raffle with a Gore-Tex Gilet as a prize. Worth 150  :o :o :o. This'll keep you warm and toasty on a cold night viewing. Hope to see you there.

Sounds like a good time to have that summer gathering we've been talking about on the forum.  I should be able to make it.  Anyone else?

Just a reminder that this is on SATURDAY 18th - this week, for anyone else who would like to come along. If you bring your scope with a solar filter for a bit of outreach, you'll get in free  :o :o :o :o.

As it's a fundraiser we canny do mates rates I'm sorry to say. I'm sure you'll understand - I hope  :-\ :-\ :-\

Hope to see some of you along, and the newcomers to the forum would be very welcome, it would be a good chance to meet up with the gang.
