Eclipse
« on: March 21, 2015, 12:22:14 PM »
Pete, Martyn and myself had superb weather in Abernethy for the event. We had lots of passers by stopping for a look through our Sky at Night glasses and also 4 scopes set up for solar observing.

Great day folks.

Excellent.  It certainly caused a stir.  Killie (David) and I ended up in Dawson Park in Dundee after going to Arbroath and finding it was very cloudy.  We had a clear view from start to finish!
I managed to take a couple of pictures, including one of Killie and a guy who was out walking his dog and came up to see if he could have a look through our solar eclipse glasses.  We had quite a few locals come up two or three times to check it out.  Great day and followed by clear skies at night too.
Follow the link if you are interested in seeing what Killie and I look like in daylight (I'm sure you're all bored with eclipse pics by now) :)
