New focuser
« on: May 14, 2015, 04:58:05 PM »
My new focuser for my ed80 arrived today..... I went with the skywatcher dual speed crayford one from Modern Astronomy.
It is a very nicely made unit and should be much nicer than the standard single speed one.
As usual Bern at MA was more than happy to help me choose, the focuser was ordered yesterday and arrived today, hats of to MA for great service.

I see the Champions League final is in June.  Maybe the weather will have come good by then ;D

That's probably true. I'm looking outside right now and all I can see are a couple of planets - it's not dark enough to see stars. Season over methinks!
