Altair astro 6rc
« on: October 12, 2014, 05:55:31 PM »
I believe that some one on here has one the above scopes, can't remember who.
I am thinking about getting one of these to use instead of my 150pds, I think the rc would compliment my 80ed better.
So, before I try to sell my 150pds and coma corrector I would appreciate a real users opinion, that is of course if the owner sees this, lol.

Thanks for that, I may take you up on that offer..... I am just curious as to build quality and imaging performance with it being F9... the reducer for these is bloody expensive, I was wondering of my WO reducer/flattener from my 'frac would work with the RC.

Hi Gary, well I also have the 8" version (altair badged) and could bring it
along for you to have a look over if you like, not sure if you could test your reducer
with it though, maybe with a point light source in the distance.

Yeah, I saw your pm. I had noticed that one but unfortunately I don't have the cash just now, I'd have to sell the newt first which is why I offered it up for a, swap to see if I got  any bites.
