Are you running it on win7? Could you post a link please.

done. righty got it all sorted after a few hours to get it going now got my Sky-watcher 200p connected to starry night pro 6.
had to update my ASCOM to the latest ver and had to remove quick time pro and install quick time ver 7.3.1 and last but not least had to set my scope on the settings as a Celestron nexstar as it dont cover Sky-watcher's

hi a dont mined posting the link the problem is that its done through bit torrent and most ppl think that if it has anything to do with that then its got to be fake software witch this is not fake as u have to send your information to starry night to get the code.
if an admin says its ok to do so a will post it.

I'm pretty sure it's still illegal. The only way you are supposed to go through that registration link is if you purchase the disk (help procedure for registration is here). If you get the download then that registration procedure doesn't exist. Part of the registration asks you where you purchased the disc from - while you can just put anything and it will give you the registration number anyway, you have to lie about the fact that you bought the disc in the first place.

The torrent is of a image file (.iso), I presume, and so the company aren't expecting anyone to have these files unless they have the physical disc. Seems like a huge oversight on Simulation Curriculum's part to have no procedure for verifying a purchase for $250 software other than 'did you buy this disc, yes/no'.

Not really fussed about people stealing software but that's what this seems to be - downloading the disc files and saying that you bought the disc to obtain them in order to receive their registration number.

Might still be wrong though.
