Oh I still have it but don't think I can afford to hang onto it.

Good for you Paul.  The 350D was a good camera, but the processor must be a bit long in the tooth now.  I am thinking of upgrading from my 500D (which I got when i sold you the 350D), but can't decide what to get.  I don't think the 650D is a ig enough jump.

Missed this thread my images are taken with a 550D or the 60D. It a great wee camera. Though I am drooling at the 6D at the moment.

I have read mixed reviews about the 6D. Unless you have a specific reason for wanting a full frame DSLR, it might be worth waiting for the 70D, which is due out soon.  It will probably about the same crazy price as well.

I guess full frame gives a little better resolution but at a loss of reach (the crop factor). For me, with a mix of astro, wildlife and landscape photography, it really is a moot point which way to go.

Good shout mate -- i too have the 550d, but think carefully about just selling the 350d. When i got the 550d i sold my 450d right away. I now regret it, as it would have been a great one to get modded for the telescope rather than my 550d, in fact, if i had still had it modded, then it would have been a permanent fixture on the scope (all pre wired etc) rather than having to setup my 550 every time.

Think carefully lol
