Hi all, I'm new to Astronomy - I've always enjoyed looking up at the stars and only recently got a telescope. In my quest to find out when I can actually go out with my telescope I found this section of the MetCheck website which may be of interest to you.

http://www.metcheck.com/HOBBIES/astronomy.asp

I hope this is of interest to you all and I hope my first post is a good one!

Graeme.

Hi Graeme and welcome to CSOG. Hopefully we'll get a chance to meet you at an observing session soon. Keep an eye on the forum under the Observing Sessions tab for session info. Don't be shy just come along you don't need any gear and you'll get a chance to look through lots of different gear to get a better idea of what to get.
