Title: NLC's
Post by: Longjohn54 on June 10, 2019, 01:22:09 PM
Grabbed a quick shot of last night's NLC's with my phone.   Looks pretty good but wish I was able to get a shot a bit earlier when they covered much more of the sky.

Nice one John, looks good, I never really see them much where I am, must try harder as
they are a lovely sight.

Great photo John. Don't often get to see them.

Is that Jupiter or a planet just left of the lamp post or just a hot pixel!.....

It is a rather blurry Capella, James.   The NLC's were much more extensive but the low clouds obscured them.  Someone with clearer skies got a much better photo and a video too.  https://stargazerslounge.com/topic/336525-nlc-10th-june/ (https://stargazerslounge.com/topic/336525-nlc-10th-june/)
